Macedonia Baptist Church is a vibrant and welcoming Baptist community located in Flint Hill, Virginia. Serving the beautiful Rappahannock County, VA, our church has been a beacon of faith, hope, and love for over a century and a half.

Founded in 1865 by Rev. Thornton Hill and two members from the Battle Run Church, Macedonia Baptist Church holds a rich history deeply rooted in the Baptist tradition.

On the third Sunday in July, Rev. George Horner, the first pastor, organized the church, where services were initially held in fields and various homes. It took tremendous dedication and perseverance, but after 22 years, the church raised enough funds to purchase the land. Many more years passed before the completion of the church building, which has since been remodeled and expanded multiple times.
